Jamaica,NY- The Hunter College Hawks traveled to CUNYAC conference foe York College for a Thursday afternoon match,  Hunter took home a 9-0 win to imptove to 3-0 in CUNYAC play and 7-0 overall. The hawks were able to play a clean efficient match only dropping two sets in the nine matches.

Freshman Sevinch Rakhmatdinov moved up to #2 singles with a few players out and won 6-0, 6-0. Fellow Freshman Anna Chapko also moved up to #3 singles for a 6-0. 6-0 win.  Both of these freshman have remained undefeated in singles play this season.

Mia chan took home her first win of the season with a 6-0, 6-0 result in #5 doubles.  Lily O'heir won her first singles match ot the year, the doubles expert has been a winner all season for the Hawks, and yesterday was her singles debut. Lastly Zaara Alfreda kept her hot streak going with her 3rd straight win, taking home #1 singles 6-0, 6-1.

Hunter returns to action on Saturday November 8th, when they travel to a non conference match up at Bard College.
