Bronxville, NY- Hunter continues their streak with a 5th straight win, the Hawks traveled to Sarah Lawrence and took home a 3-0 win, 25-12, 25-18, and 25-16.  The Hawks tallied 36 kills, 34 assists, 7 aces and hit .261%, while picking up 39 digs and 4 blocks, 9 hawks picked up a dig for a team total of 39

Hunter was led by three Freshman, Middle hitter Lily Mattison continued her torrid play leading the Hawks with 10 kills on 18 swings, hitting .444, while also picking up 2 block assists.  Fellow Freshman outside hitter Simone McIntyre chipped in with 8 kills on 12 swings hitting .500, a career high.  Rounding out the freshman trio Bethany Tomaneng paced the Hawks with 20 assists, 1 block assist and 5 digs.  The Freshman setter has racked up 236 assists so far in 11 matches to start her collegiate career.

Hunter returns to the Sportsplex for a CUNYAC Tri-match on Saturday October 8th, hosting John Jay at 10am, and CCNY at 2pm.
