Glenside, PA- Hunter looses to Arcadia 3-1, 20-25, 25-21, 22-25, 17-25.  Tionna Moss with another outstanding offensive effort picking up 15 kills while hitting .344, chipping in on defense she picked up 4 digs and a solo block.

The freshman attack of middle blocker Lily Matison, setter Bethany Tomaneng, and outside hitter Simone McIntyre almost put the Hawks over the top for the road win.  Mattison had a huge performance with 10 kills on 21 wings for a 381 percentage.  She also picked up 2 solo blocks along with two block assists, and an ace for good measure.  Tomaneng continued to fill the stat sheet up for the hawks with 8 kills on 15 attempts, along with 35 assists, and 9 digs.  Freshman outside Simone McIntrye had her best game of her career thus far with 6 kills, 6 digs and 2 block assists.

Libero Nadia Lau led the back line defense with 11 digs.  As a team Hunter had 50 digs in the match.  The difference in the match was the service game, Hunter picked up 2 service aces while Arcadia picked up 14 and led them to victory.

Hunter returns to action on Tuesday September 20th for a non-conference match up with FDU-Florham, first serve is set for 6pm in the Sportsplex
