BOX SCORE New York, NY- The Hunter College Women's volleyball team improved to 4-2 on the season with a 3-1 win over FDU-Florham. Hunter took the match 25-14, 22-25, 25-14, 25-14.
The Hawks led with defense, as a team they picked up 64 digs with 20 total blocks. Leading the way was Libero
Nadia Lau who had a game high 19 digs, and senior middle
Mariam Ouattara had a season high 7 blocks.Â
The best defensive performance of the year did not take away from the offense at all on this night. As a team the Hawks had 47 kills, with 7 service aces and 44 assists!

Tionna Moss continued her stellar play with 10 kills while hitting .333 for the match, and the dual threat of Junior

Bethany Tomaneng paced the offense with 17 and 24 assists each. Continuing the success of new comers Freshman middle

Hunter travels to Danbury Connecticut on Saturday for a tri-match at Western Connecticut state. The Hawks face Keene State at 2pm and the hosts at 4pm.
