New York, N.Y.- The Hunter College men's basketball team fell in a conference competition to the CCNY on the road on Friday evening. The Hawks dropped a 98-83 decision to the Beavers to drop to 5-12 overall and 2-5 in CUNYAC.
Sophomore,
Enzo Caceres-Roussel led the Hawks with 14 points while grabbing five rebounds and a pair of steals. Senior,
Cormac Reilly collected 12 points of his own while Casey Meyes chipped in with 11 points and a game-high four steals. Junior,
Luka Jakic added ten points while grabbing eight rebounds and a steal.
Jack Meyers,
Jared Brown, and
Gene Propper all grabbed two steals a peice to contribute to the Hawks 18 total compared to the Beaver's 14.
Hunter shot 37.3% from the field while CCNY made 51.4%.
The Hawks return to the court on Tuesday Jan. 27th as they host Lehman College at 7:00 pm in the Hunter Sportsplex.
