Bronx, N.Y.- The Hunter College womens' tennis team traveled to Lehman College for a conference match where they came away with a 9-0 win over the Lightening to advance to 3-1 in CUNYAC, as the hosts fall to 2-2 in league play.

The win was marked by big performances from junior Angelina Catania as she took #1 singles (6-1, 6-3) and #1 doubles (8-1) in tandem with Mia Chan. Anna Chapko also had a memorable day, starting with an 8-0 win at #2 doubles where she teamed up with Lily O'Heir. Chapko also took the #2 singles slot where she secured a convincing 6-1, 6-0 win.

Freshmen Julia Aksamentova and Sree Kolla, continued to impress and they each won their singles match in straight sets,

Hunter continues its season Thursday Oct. 12th as they travel to Farmingdale State College. First serve is set for 4:30 p.m.
