The Hunter College Men's Soccer team defeated CCNY 4-1 on Wednesday night at Randall's Island field #10.  With the win Hunter improves to 6-6-1 on the season and they will wait for the final standings after all conference games are finished.  The CUNYAC Playoff being on Wednesday with the quaterfinals #3 hosting #6 and #4 hosting #5.  The Semi-finals are on Saturday October 28th With the #1 seed hosting the winner of the 4/5 matchup, and the #2 seed hosting the winner of the 3/6 matchup.

Hunter had a new keeper for the first time all season with Ahmed Abukar playing all 90 minutes in net, making two saves and only allowing a goal.  City College got the scoring started in the 33rd minute when Arlind Cela was able to score off a pass from his teamate Hazim Naji.  Hunter went into half time down 1-0, but that all changed wht Abdula Al Maghrabi scored on an unassisted goal to tie the game up in the 65th minute. a little over 5 minutes later Manjiro Nishimura scored off an assists from Saleel Eldin to give the Hawks the lead for good,  at 72:42 Bradlet Espejo score his 9th goal of the season.  Espejo also assisted the final goal of the night when David Zlobinsky scored in the 86th minute. 

Hunter will wait for the conclusion of conference play to announce the next game date, time and opponent but with the Hawks success this year and a 5-1-1 conference record Hunter will be hosting the game.
