The Hunter women's Volleyball team dropped a hard fought close 4 set match while visiting Drew University, with the loss the Hawks fall to 12-5 overall. This was a tight match that the Hawks could not secure the key point, dropping 23-25, 26-28, 25-23, and 18-25. Hunter will look to bounce back when they travel to Lehman College for a CUNYAC tri-match on Saturday to play the Lightning and Medgar Evers.
Tionna Moss led the offensive charge with 16 kills on the night, Tessa Winkleman gathered double digit kills for the sixth time in the last 7 matches,
Izabella Williams was all over the court with 14 kills and 15 digs on the back side.
Bethany Tomaneng continued to put her teammates in a place to succeed with 41 assists on the teams 53 kills. She also led Hunter with 5 service aces, and chipped in with 15 digs.
Erin Dugan had a team high 21 digs in the Libero role. The Hawks were unable to secure the key point in the first two sets when they had a double digit lead.
