Bronx, N.Y.- The Hunter College men's volleyball team traveled to Mount Saint Vincent where they split a trimatch, dropping a 2-3 decision to Kean University followed by a 3-0 sweep of Mount Saint Vincent.
Against, Kean, Hunter fought back after dropping the first two sets (25-21, 27-25) to take the next two straight (25-17, 25-21)Â and force a fifth set which they battled to the very end. Junior,
Cooper Moran paced the Hawks with 39 assists in addition to five blocks.
Ted Kim led with 14 digs and a pair of aces, whileÂ
Sergio Aguado had a team high 19 digs.
In their second match of the day, the Purple and Gold swept the hosting Dolphins (25-18, 25-18, 25-15).
Matissee Lee-Maarek had eight kills, five blocks and a pair of aces in three sets. Kim added eight kills of his own and chipped in four digs on the back line. Moran again led with 30 assists while Aguado managed eight digs in the win.
