Jamaica, N.Y.- The Hunter College men's tennis team traveled to no. 6 York College for the first round of the CUNYAC Tournament as they swept the Cardinals 5-0.

The no. 3 seeded Hawks started off with an 8-0 wins at no. 1 and 2 doubles where Justin Pazmino and Jairo Baquero Molina teamed up in the first team and Anil Singh and Kenneth Del Cid collaborated at no. 2. Austin Martinez and Sandro Schwyzer finished off doulbes play with an 8-2 win at no. 3.

All finished matches for the Hawks were won in straight sets on the singles' court as Pazmino took no. 2 singles (6-1, 6-0)  and Austin Martinez swept his opponent in the fourth slot.


The Hawks are set to face no. 2 Brooklyn College on April 23 for the semifinals.
