New York, N.Y.- The Hunter College women's volleyball team faced a challenging opponent in Kean University, falling in straight sets (20-25, 18-25, 20-25) despite some notable individual efforts.

The Hawks (13-5, 3-0 CUNYAC) struggled offensively, posting a .085 team hitting percentage, with top performances coming from Izabella Williams and Amina Moummad. Williams led the team with 17 kills on 39 attempts, finishing with a .205 hitting percentage and contributing 18 total points. Moummad added 6 kills on 22 attempts and 8 digs, while Lily Mattison chipped in 5 kills.

Setter Bethany Tomaneng orchestrated the offense, dishing out 33 assists and contributing 12 digs defensively. The back-row defense was led by Erin Dugan, who had 13 digs, and Tomaneng's strong play in the libero role. Despite their efforts, Hunter struggled to find consistency at the net, committing 28 attack errors against Kean (10-9, 1-2 NJAC).
