New York , N.Y.- The Hunter College women's basketball team secured a solid victory against  CCNY  in a CUNYAC matchup at Nat Holmn Gymnasium. The final score stood at 66-56 in favor of the Hawks, extending their win streak to three.

In the first quarter, both teams struggled to find their rhythm, with CCNY holding a narrow lead of 12-10. Alexa Charles  led the charge for the Hawks, scoring 11 points in the quarter. The second quarter saw Hunter's offense ignite, outscoring the Beavers 26-18, with Erin Cosio contributing significantly with her sharp shooting from beyond the arc.

As the game progressed, Hunter maintained its lead with strong defensive plays and efficient scoring. Despite the Beavers' efforts to narrow the gap, Hunter's resilience prevailed. The third and fourth quarters saw balanced scoring from both teams, but Hunter's early lead proved insurmountable for CCNY.

 Charles led the scoring for Hunter with 23 points, supported by Cosio with 14 points. For CCNY, Anais Rosa put up a valiant effort with 25 points, but it wasn't enough to overcome Hunter's determined performance.
