Match Recap: Men's Tennis |

Hawks Fall Short, 7-2, at Ramapo

Mahwah, N.J.- The Hunter College men's tennis team fell on a road match at Ramapo, 7-2, on Saturday afternoon.

Tyler Wood made a stellar debut on the court, showcasing his prowess with a commanding victory at no. 5 singles. Meanwhile, freshman sensation Ali Elshehawey stunned spectators with a remarkable come-from-behind triumph at 4th Singles, demonstrating both resilience and skill under pressure.

In the spotlight at no. 1, freshman standout Alex Hagiu showed remarkable growth and determination. Although he narrowly missed out on victory in a fiercely contested third-set tiebreaker, his relentless drive and improving performance promise great things to come for the team.

Hunter looks to continue to improve as they return to the court on April 8 against Farmingdale State College.
