New York, N.Y.- The Hunter College wrestling team honored its senior class in the team's final home match of the season on Saturday afternoon, as they hosted Johns Hopkins University and Waynesburg University in the Sportsplex. The Hawks highlighted the class of 2024-25 in Ricky Tucubal, Naman Bhasin, Jevin Torres, and Abdullah Saleh.

The day started as Hunter picked up its third win of the season 36-23 over Waynesburg. The squad was led by Jevin Torres, who picked up a win in 197 lbs. ove Kevin Willis (Fall, 2:29). In the team's second match of the day, despite falling 47-9 to JHU, Botensky Bauzile highlighted the match, with a 14-7 decision in the 133 lbs. weight class, over visiting Duncan Stadler.

The Hawks return to the mat on Feb. 1 as they travel to Trinity College (Conn.) for a trimatch against the hosts and Vermont State Castleton.
