NEW YORK, N.Y.- Hunter College Athletics is seeking motivated and reliable students to join the department as work-study employees for the 2026-27 academic year.
Students interested in gaining hands-on experience in collegiate athletics while becoming more involved in the Hunter community are encouraged to apply. Opportunities are currently available in Game Day Operations and Recreation and Intramurals.
Athletics Game Day Student Worker – Job ID 4568
Game Day Student Workers assist Hunter Athletics staff with the operation of home athletic events throughout the year.
Responsibilities include setting up and breaking down equipment and game-day areas, assisting teams and officials, and helping ensure events run smoothly. Student workers may also receive a variety of in-game assignments, including serving as ball runners, line judges, scoreboard operators, public address announcers, statisticians and libero trackers.
Applicants should be responsible, reliable and comfortable working as part of a team. The position requires availability for athletic events held both on and off campus, including evenings and weekends. Some events may also require working outdoors and in inclement weather.
Recreation and Intramurals Student Worker – Job ID 4570
Hunter Athletics, Recreation and Intramurals is also seeking students interested in promoting recreation, fitness and an active lifestyle throughout the Hunter College community.
Student workers can take on a variety of responsibilities based on their skills and interests. Opportunities include providing customer service and support at the fitness center, B4 Gym and North Pool, as well as assisting with the marketing, creation and organization of Hunter's intramural programs and events.
This position is a great opportunity for students who enjoy working with people, have an interest in recreation and fitness, and want to play an active role in the Hunter community.
