Flushing, N.Y.- The City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) announced its weekly award winners for women's basketball with Alexa Charles of Hunter College's women's basketball team earning her third Player of the Week title of the 2024-25 season.

Alexa Charles had another outstanding week for Hunter across two games. Against Elmira, she delivered a dominant performance, scoring 30 points in just 27 minutes of play while shooting an impressive 70.0% from the field (14-20). She added four rebounds, one assist, and five steals, showcasing her impact on both ends of the floor. She was also perfect from the free-throw line, going 2-2. 

Against USMMA, Charles continued to lead her team, contributing 21.5 points in 35 minutes. She remained flawless at the free-throw line, hitting all three attempts, and was active on the boards, grabbing nine rebounds. Charles also added another assist and a steal, further emphasizing her all-around contribution.

Across the two games, she shot an efficient 52.8% from the field and maintained a perfect 100% free-throw percentage.
