Flushing, N.Y.- The Hunter College women's indoor track and field team swept the weekly awards for the City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC), as released by the league office on Monday. after an impressive performance and the Widener Open on Friday afternoon.

In the field, freshman Jamie Risso earned Field Athlete weekly honors as she placed second in the Widener Open in the triple jump (10.82m) as well as the long jump (5.27m). Both of which were personal bests for Risso, as well as conference-best marks in each event.

On the track Shannon Ferri earned the Runner of the Week title after an impressive performance where she clocked in a 5:50 in the women's mile - the top time in the conference. 

Mikaelle Cesar rounded out the sweep for the Hawks, earning Rookie of the Week accolades after placing 8th overall in the women's 800m race, with a time of 2:40.45, as she currently ranks no. 1 in the conference.
