NEW YORK, N.Y.- The Hunter College women's tennis team continued its undefeated season with a 7-0 conference win at John Jay on Saturday afternoon.

Hunter (5-0, 2-0 CUNYAC) was perfect in doubles, keeping John Jay (1-4, 1-1 CUNYAC) off the board. Isabella Tchij and Jade Schonfeld continued their success at No. 1 doubles with a 6-0 victory. Sara Novo and Sree Kolla swept their opponents at second doubles, followed by Julia Aksamentova and Ava Cooper who also won 6-0 at No. 3.

In singles play Tchij won her second match of the day at 6-1, 6-1 in No. 1 doubles. Schonfeld grabbed a 6-0, 6-0 win in the second slot. The Hawks dominated the remaining singles matches with Novo, Aksamentova, Sara Contreras, and Kolla all taking 6-0, 6-0 wins.

Hunter continued its season on Oct. 7 as the squad heads to Brooklyn College for a 3 p.m. first serve.
