NEW YORK, N.Y.- Hunter College held its induction ceremony for the Hall of Fame Class of 2025 on Saturday evening, inducting Alexandra Rubiano, Jen Agosto, Dr. Russell Lieberman, Allyshia West, Megan McKenna, Jesse Bader, and Yevgeny Perepelov.

Alexandra Rubiano '18 (Women's Swimming & Diving)
Alexandra Rubiano is regarded as one of Hunter's most decorated swimmers. A multiple-time CUNYAC Performer of the Year, Rubiano recorded the program's best times to date in the 200 freestyle, 100 and 200 butterfly, and was part of the then record-holding 400 medley relay team. She became the first CUNYAC female swimmer to qualify for the ECAC Championships three times, earning top-10 finishes at the Metropolitan Championships and leading the Hawks as a consistent winner in dual meets.
Jen Agosto '04 (Women's Basketball & Softball)
Jen Agosto left a lasting legacy as a successful basketball and softball athlete from 2000 to 2004, earning an astounding six conference titles across both sports. A three-time CUNYAC tournament and regular season champion in basketball, she finished her career with 1,335 points with 269 3-point field goals while shooting .368 from beyond the arc. Agosto earned CUNYAC Tournament MVP, ECAC All-Star, MWBA All-Star, and D3hoops.com All-Region honors. Agosto served as a utility player and a key contributor to the three conference titles the softball team won during her tenure.
Dr. Russell Lieberman '72 (Men's Swimming & Diving)
Dr. Russell Lieberman dominated the pool during his four years at Hunter, graduating with then school records in the 50, 100 and 200 freestyle along with two relay marks. A two-time Metropolitan Collegiate champion in the 50 freestyle, Lieberman was also a four-time CUNYAC champion in the 50 and 100 freestyle. He capped his career as team captain and MVP, while earning All-Metropolitan Swim Team honors in his senior season.
Allyshia West '08 (Women's Swimming & Diving, Softball)
A two-sport standout, Allyshia West shined as both a dominant softball pitcher and a record-breaking swimmer. On the diamond, she was a two-time CUNYAC Pitcher of the Year, leading Hunter to multiple regular-season and tournament titles. In her lone season in the pool, West was named CUNYAC Rookie of the Year and captured four gold medals to help the Hawks win a conference championship, while also excelling at the Metropolitan Championships.
Megan McKenna '12 (Women's Basketball & Softball)
Megan McKenna was a two-sport athlete at Hunter, earning all-conference recognition in both basketball and softball. On the court, she was a consistent scoring leader, highlighted by a 388-point junior season that earned her CUNYAC All-Star honors, for the second time in her career. On the field, she finished with a career .354 batting average, starting every game across four seasons and collecting more than 160 hits as a four-time conference all-star. She went on to coach as an assistant for softball from 2015-2018.
Jesse Bader '16 (Wrestling)
Jesse Bader etched his name into Hunter history as one of the program's toughest and most accomplished wrestlers. A 2015 CUNYAC Scholar-Athlete, Bader overcame injuries to compile a 54-win career. As a senior, he earned All-American status with an eighth-place finish at the NCAA Championships in the 165-pound division, becoming the first All-American in Hunter wrestling at his weight class.
Yevgeny Perepelov '13 (Men's Tennis)
Yevgeny Perepelov established himself as one of the most successful tennis players in Hunter history with a career 30-1 singles record at the top spot. A two-time CUNYAC major award winner, he was named the program's first ITA All-American in 2012 after winning the USTA/ITA Regional Singles Championship. Perepelov led Hunter to its first conference title since 1988 and earned individual victories in NCAA Regional play against national powers Skidmore and MIT.
