ROCHESTER, N.Y.- The Hunter College women's cross country team competed at the NCAA DIII Niagara Regional hosted by Rochester Institute of Technology on Saturday morning.
Six from Hunter ran in the women's 6k race, led by conference Runner of the Year, Shannon Ferri, with a time of 24:06.3. She was followed by Mikaelle Cesar, who crossed in tape in 26:01.4. City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) Rookie of the Year, Maria Gonzalez was the next-best finisher for Hunter, with her time of 27:10.7. Emma Kilroy finished out sub-30 minute finishers for the Hawks, posting a time of 29:00.3.
Melanie Liu and Gabriela Miranda rounded out runners for Hunter with respective times of 30:25.9 and 30:44.1.
After a successful 2025 season, the Hawks look to start their indoor track and field season in the coming weeks.
