NEW YORK — The Hunter men's volleyball took on CUNYAC-unbeaten Baruch College on Tuesday night at the Hunter Sportsplex, pushing the Bearcats to four sets before ultimately falling 3-1 (21-25, 25-15, 23-25, 14-25). The Hawks displayed flashes of control, particularly in the second set, where they dictated the pace to level the match.

Ahmed Mohamed led Hunter's attack with a match-high 18 kills on .231 hitting, adding two aces and five digs. Annes Deljanin was highly efficient, registering six kills on a .500 hitting percentage, while Kyle Foley contributed six kills, one ace, and eight digs. Lucas George made his presence felt at the net, recording three kills and three aces while also adding two blocks.

Setter Lenny Arbitman led the offense with 18 assists, while Felipe Delgado and Wesley Stubbs combined for 11 more. Crisostomo Ibarra and Brandon Yeh strengthened the back row, contributing to a solid defensive performance in which Hunter recorded 24 total digs.

Hunter will look to regroup as it continues conference action. The Hawks return to the court on March 13 when they face Medgar Evers College at 6 p.m.
