FLUSHING, N.Y.- The City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUYNAC) announced its weekly award winners for men's basketball, with JP Maaba of the Hunter College men's basketball team earning his fifth Rookie of the Week title for the season.
 

JP Maaba scored in double-digits in each game for the Hawks last week. He scored 24 points while dishing out six assists and grabbing a pair of rebounds and a steal against John Jay, followed by a 16 point, eight assist, and five rebound performance against York. 

The Purple and Gold return to the court on Jan. 14, hosting Brooklyn College at 7 p.m. in the Sportsplex.
