FLUSHING, N.Y.- The Hunter College men's tennis team celebrated Senior Day on Saturday, honoring Jason Parmar prior to its conference matchup against Baruch at the USTA.
Despite the pre-match festivities, the Hawks fell 7-0 in conference play.
Baruch claimed all three doubles matches to take early control of the contest. The teams of Nicholas Cooper and Alexander Hagiu at No. 1, Odin Dibra and Savio Francis at No. 2, and Parmar alongside Nicholas Douglas at No. 3 were each defeated.
In singles play, Hunter continued to battle but was unable to secure a point, as Baruch completed the sweep across all six flights. Cooper competed at No. 1 singles, followed by Hagiu at No. 2 and Dibra at No. 3, while Francis, Parmar, and Douglas rounded out the lineup at No. 4 through No. 6.
The Hawks return to action on April 15 for a nonconference match at Farmingdale.
