FLUSHING, N.Y.- The Hunter College women's volleyball team swept the City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) weekly awards as announced by the league office, with Kassidy Cruz Nuesi earning Player of the Week, and Sofia Marolla with a Rookie of the Week nod.

Cruz Nuesi recorded 29 kills while hitting .364 across three matches. She had 15 kills on .458 hitting in Hunter's four-set win over St. Joseph's Long Island and finished the week with five aces and eight total blocks.

Marolla totaled 96 assists, 21 digs and four blocks across three matches. She recorded 40 assists, five kills and five digs in Hunter's four-set victory over St. Joseph's Long Island on Thursday.

The Hawks return to the court tomorrow, Sept. 22, for the team's conference opener at The City College of New York. First serve is slated for 7 p.m.
