New York, NY – Senior Heather Alvord (Silver Spring, MD/Springbrook) finished first in all three of her individual events, but her efforts wouldn't be enough as the Hawks drop their third straight meet of the season to Queens College on Tuesday night at Hunter's North Pool.

Alvord first picked up a win in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:03.57, she then followed this up with a 2:19.30 performance in the 200-yard backstroke. Her final event of the evening came with a 2:24.48 win in the 200-yard IM.

Sophomore Marian Wu (Flushing, NY/Stuyvesant) finished first, second and third in her three events, taking first in the 100-yard butterfly [1:12.42], second in the 200-yard butterfly [2:47.42] and third in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 1:09.86.

The Hawks will return to the pool next week when they host the College of Mount Saint Vincent on Friday, December 4 at 6:00 p.m. at the Hunter North Pool as part of the 2009 Homecoming celebration.
