Madison, NJ – Still in search for their first win of the season, the Hunter Hawks were shutout on Saturday by the Devils of Farleigh Dickenson – College at Florham 1-0 in a non-conference men's soccer match in Madison, NJ.
The lone goal of the game was scored at the 55:25 mark when freshman midfielder Manny Almeida (Elizabeth, NJ/Union Catholic) converted a pass from freshman defender Alan Kaszubski (Morris Plains, NJ/Morris Catholic).

Alexandre Ilic (Miami, FL/Miami Killian Senior High) got the start for the Hawks, playing all 90 minutes, allowing one goal and making two saves after having faced 13 shots. Junior Kevin Herbert (Whippany, NJ/Whippany Park) had two saves in the shutout victory for the Devils.
Hunter now falls to 0-5-1 on the year and will turn their attention towards Wednesday when they will host the College of Staten Island for a CUNY Athletic Conference match at 5:00 p.m. on Randall's Island.
