Hawks Fall in Final Regular Season Game

On Monday, October 18 the men's soccer team traveled to Montclair, New Jersey for their final contest of the regular season against the Red Hawks of Montclair State University. Hunter fell behind early 2-0 and then let up another final goal late in the second half to suffer a 3-0 loss. The Hawks fall to 7-6-3, 5-2-2 CUNYAC while MSU advances to 12-2-2.

The Hawks had a difficult time getting any sort of offense going throughout the game. They let up two early goals within three minutes of each other to fall behind 2-0, were out shot in the first half 14 to two and were at a disadvantage in corners, six to one. MSU did not let up in the second half as they fired a total of seven shots while hold Hunter to zero. Sean Pauls, the midfielder who netted the first two goals, struck again in the 70th mintue for the hat trick.

Keeper Zade Haobsh logged 81:33 minutes in goal and made six saves while time was split for MSU keepers Anthony Rogic and Terrance Mack.
