PURCHASE, NY - On Wednesday, October 10th the women's tennis team travelled up to SUNY Purchase to take on the Beavers of CCNY.  The women dominated the court, winning the match with a perfect score of 9-0.  With the win, the Hawks improve to 7-3, 5-1 CUNYAC while the Beavers drop to 1-8, 1-5 CUNYAC.

First and Third Doubles both eaisly disposed of their opponents 8-1, while second doubles won 8-3.

In singles play, junior Shena Joseph bageled her opponet 6-0, 6-0 while in the first slot junior Jane Selegean won 6-2, 6-0.  Sophomore Gina Yeo took down her opponet in third singles 6-1, 6-0, while sophomore Caroline Kaleda won her fourth singles match 6-2, 6-0.

The Hawks are back in action on Friday, October 12th when they compete against the Bloodhounds of John Jay in their last match before the CUNY Tournament.
