Swimming Dominates FDU, 114-89

RESULTS

MADISON, NJ - On Tuesday, December 11th the women's swimming team traveled to Madison, NJ to compete against Fairleigh Dickinson University in a non-conference match-up.  The Hawks dropped the Devils 114-89 to improve their record to 2-4, 1-1 CUNYAC while the Devils drop to 0-8.

The 200 Yard MR composed of Charlotte Collazo, Niky Wu, Chryzl Goco, and Helena Mapoy got things started with a first place finish with a time of 2.36.45.  Followed was junior Jennifer Dzurita who placed first in the 200 Yard Freestyle with a time of 2:16.34.

Goco grabbed first in the 200 Yard IM with a time of 2:43.98 and the 100 Yard Backstroke with a time of 1:13.73. Collazzo placed first in the 100 Yard Breaststroke with a time of 1:21.31

The Hawks are back in action on January 4th, when they host the Golden Eagles of St. Josephs-LI at the north pool.  The meet is slated for a 6pm start.
