BOX SCORE NEW YORK, NY- The Hunter men's soccer game suffered their third loss of the season on Wednesday, September 5
th against Montclair State University, 1-6. With the loss the Hawks fall to 0-0-3, while the Red Hawks improve their record to 3-0-0.
Hunter's offense had difficulty from the beginning, as MSU was able to breakthrough with their first goal in the seventh minute. The Red Hawks Almir Batista scored the second goal of the game four minutes later and then scored his second goal off a deflection, giving his team a commanding 3-0 lead. MSU was able to get one more goal in right before halftime, giving the Red Hawks a comfortable 4-0 lead.
The second half deemed better for the Hawks, as they had five shots and two corner kicks. At minute 19, sophomore

Darwin Gramajo finished the day with two shots, while keeper
Zade Haobsh finished the day with eight saves.
The Hawks are back in action this weekend, Saturday, September 8
th where they travel to Newark, NJ to compete the Rutgers- Newark Tournament. They will face Drew University in the first round. Kick-off is set for an 11 a.m. start.
