RESULTS

NEW YORK, NY - The women's swimming team hosted CUNYAC foes the Bloodhounds of John Jay on Tuesday, January 15th.  Taking seven first place finishes, the Hawks out swan the Bloodhounds, 58-36.  With the win, the women improve to 6-6, 4-2 CUNYAC.

The 200 Yard MR team consisting of Chryzl Goco, Charlotte Collazo, Courtney McEvoy Lee, and Jennifer Dzurita got things started as they took first with a time of 2:09.69.  Dzurita went on to take first in the 200 Yard Freestyle with a time of 2:13.16 and also the 500 Yard Freestyle with a time of 6:04.20.  McEvoy Lee went on to take first in the 100 Yard Butterfly with a time of 1:11.70.

December Scholar-Athlete of the Month Charlotte Collazo took first in the 50 Yard Freestyle with a time of 28.26, while freshman Niky Wu took first in the 100 Yard Freestyle with 1:03.38.  Chryzl Goco grabbed first in the 100 Yard Backstroke with a time of 1:09.28.

The Hawks are back in action on on Friday, January 18th when they travel to Danbury, CT to compete against WCSU.
