New York, N.Y. - The men's soccer team was defeated 2-0 by the Beavers on CCNY on Saturday, October 12th.  With the loss, the Hawks drop to 2-12, 2-4 CUNYAC while the Beavers improve to 6-7-1 5-1 CUNYAC. 

ECAC Player of the Week Diego Mercado led the Hawks with six shots on goal, while Michael Zebzda had two and Brayan Acevedo and Renato Lazo added one. Goalkeeper Emmanuel Aprilakis had three saves allowing two goals, while CCNY's goalkeeper and ECAC Rookie of the Week Maxwell Berkow had 10 saves allowing zero goals.

The Beaver's Bertrand Oubida scored both goals of the game.

Hunter finished the game out-shooting the Beavers 17-13, with 10 of those being shots on goal compared to CCNY's five.

The Hawks are back in action on Tuesday, October 16th when they play host to the hawks of SUNY New Paltz.  The game is slated for a 5pm start.
