Swimming Dropped by Queens, 74-48

New York, N.Y – The women's swimming team dropped a hard fought meet to Queens College on Monday, November 25th 74-48.  With the loss, the Hawks drop to 2-2.

Despite the loss the Hawks had quite a few first place finishes, with the 200 MR team consisting of Chryzl Goco, Niky Wu, Courtnet McEvoy Lee and Carla Canning taking first with a time of 2:04.96, improving their time by four seconds.
 
Freshman Amanda Iken took first in the 1000FR with a time of 12:43.91, while also taking first in the 100 Back. Canning went on to take first in the 100 Breast, while also taking second in the 200 breast.
 
The Hawks are back in action on December 6th, when they host the Dolphins of CSI at Homecoming.
