Newark, NJ - Two Hawks attempted a shot on goal in a 0-2 loss to Rutgers-Newark on Saturday, September 7^th. Joseph Gallardo Alzate fired a shot in the first period and Diego Cisneros attempted a shot in the second period.

Hunter posted three total shots with two reaching the Rutgers-Newark goal. Joseph Gallardo Alzate had the Hawks first shot attempt at the 18:43 mark in the opening period.  With seven minutes remaining in the first half, Diego Cisneros stopped a header inside of the box for a Hawks' save after a Scarlet Raiders shot attempt.

The Scarlet Raiders scored two goals in the first period. Paulino Marques at the 34:40 mark and Hubert Dul at the 40:42 mark. Hunter's Emmanuel Aprilakis finished with eight total saves on 11 shot attempts on the Hawks' goal.

In the second period, Hunter's Rocky Marin had a shot attempt (50:55) that went wide right. Later in the match, Diego Cisneros fired a shot in the 79^th minute and remained aggressive with two corner kicks (80:06, 88:40) on the Scarlet Raiders' defense.
