BOX SCORE BRONX, NY – The Hunter men's soccer team continued their winning ways on Wednesday night with a thrilling 1-0 overtime victory over Lehman College. The Hawks have now won three of their last four games and now sit 3-3 in CUNYAC play.
Sophomore
Brandon Fiscina scored the game winning goal in the 94' of overtime. Fiscina has scored at least one goal in seven of the Hawks last nine games; he now has 10 goals on the season which is third best in CUNYAC.
Freshman goalkeeper
Zachary Metz notched his first career shutout in only his fourth career start. The Lightning forced Metz into making seven saves.
Fiscina's goal game was assisted by Malik Agringna whose shot was deflected and landed on the foot of Fiscina who beat the Lehman keeper.
The Hawks have played themselves right back into the thick of the CUNYAC standings with three CUNYAC wins in their last four matches. The Hawks next game is Saturday against rival Baruch College, the game is scheduled to be played at Metropolitan Oval at 12pm.
