NEW YORK, NY - The Hunter Hawks swimming team won their sixth straight meet on Tuesday night by defeating Lehman College 57-27, to improve to 6-0 on the season and 3-0 in CUNYAC competitions.

The Hawks won all but two events against the Lightning with top swims coming from Lindsey Pero, who swam a lifetime best in the 100 fly, Alexandra Rubiano with a CUNYAC best in the 100 freestyle and Kelly Xue winning he 100 backstroke in a season best.

"Many of our swimmers were swimming events they haven't competed in all season," said co-head coach Scott Bintner. "We will continue to train hard going into the winter break and prepare for our upcoming competitions."
