BOX SCORE ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, NY – The Hunter soccer team took on Bard College Saturday afternoon and fell to the Raptors 3-0. The Hawks drop to 0-2 on the young season.
Bard got on the board in the 19' on a looping volley from 20 yards out by Shaw McCabe. The Hawks tightened up their defense the remaining portion of the 1

Emmanuel Aprilakis making three saves to preserve the one goal deficit.
In the 2
nd half the Raptors consistent pressure wore down the Hawks who were playing their second game in two days by testing Aprilakis with eight shots forcing the senior keeper to make three more saves.
The Raptors would notch a second goal in the 54' when Nick Shenberger would score off of a throw-in that landed into the penalty area. The Raptors would score a third in the 58' on David Mamukelashvili first goal of the season.
The Hawks return to action on Wednesday September 3
rd in the home opener against Montclair St. Game time is scheduled for 5pm at Randall's Island, Field 10.
