New York, NY - Hunter College women's swimming improved to 5-0 in the CUNYAC with a 119-86 victory over Baruch College on Friday night.
The Hawks remain first in the conference with their undefeated record.
The 200 medley relay team of
Kelly Xue,
Carla Canning,
Lindsey Pero and
Alexandra Rubiano kicked off the meet with a first-place finish and a time of 2:14.62.
Freshman
Sera Knobler had a solid night for the Hawks, placing first in the 800 meter freestyle with a time of 10:13.23. She followed that up with another win in the 400 meter freestyle, posting a time of 5:03.06.
Rubiano took home two first-place finishes on the night, taking the 200 meter IM race (2:40.21) and then placing first in the 100 meter freestyle (1:06.20).
Xue and Canning each scored nine points for Hunter as Xue placed first in the 100 meter backstroke (1:16.90) and Canning finished the 100 meter breaststroke in first (1:21.25).
The Hawks return to action on January 10 when they host St. Joseph's College - Long Island at 6 p.m.
