New York, N.Y. - Hunter College women's swimming won its second-straight meet on Thursday night, defeating John Jay College with a score of 57-37.

The Hawks are now 2-0 this season and undefeated in CUNYAC play.

The 200 yard medley relay team of Virginia Anne Dundon, Katherine Lee, Julia Mamone and Alexandra Rubiano kicked off the night with a win, posting a time of 2:06.10.

Rubiano continued to lead the Hawks by placing first in the 200 yard freestyle and then the 100 yard butterfly to score ten points.

Sera Knobler and Christina Valente went one and two in the 1000 yard freestyle, while Mamone took first in the 100 yard backstroke. 

Irene Collins finished it off for the Purple and Gold by taking the 500 yard freestyle, winning by a full 40 seconds.

The team returns to action on Nov. 7 when they travel to Adelphi University.
