New York, N.Y. - Hunter College women's swimming earned its third win of the season on Tuesday night, defeating Lehman College at the North Pool with a score of 55-31.
The 200 yard medley relay team kicked off the meet with a win as
Gabrielle Oczos,
Virginia Anne Dundon,
Sarah Betts and
Katherine Lee took first to score seven points with a time of 2:04.15.
Michelle Bzikot then totaled five points for the Purple and Gold when she finished the 1000 yard freestyle in a time of 13:50.06.
Alice Tsai and
Sera Knobler each won their respective events in the 50 yard freestyle and 200 yard IM, while
Samantha Helmy took home a first-place finish in the 100 yard butterfly with a time of 1:16.15.
Alice Tsai won her second event of the day when she placed at the top in the 100 yard freestyle, posting a finish of 1:02.68.
Irene Collins locked in the team victory for the Hawks when she recorded a time of 6:04.49 in the 500 yard freestyle to give Hunter a 55-31 win.
The squad returns to the pool on November 19 when they take on Queens College at 6 p.m.
