New York, NY – The swimming and diving team remained undefeated in the 2019-20 season with a meet against St. Joseph's College-LI. Behind the strength of eight individual event winners, the Hawks swam away with a 114-57 win over the Eagles.

Kathrine Lee secured the first of Hunter's eight individual event wins after posting a time of 2:16.89 in the 200 yard freestyle, besting second place
Alice Tsai by 7 seconds.

Next up was the 50 freestyle, where Hunter claimed the top 3 spots. Cloe Muller, claimed first place touching the wall at 28.28 seconds. Muller also claimed a victory in the 100 yard freestyle with a time of 1:00.57.

Sarah Decker had an excellent showing winning the 400 yard IM with a time of 5:07:74 winning by almost 15 seconds. The freshman notched another victory in the 200 yard backstroke winning by over 10 seconds with a time of 2:22.59.

Molly Baran swam well finishing first in the 500 yard freestyle with a time of 6:30.56 finishing more than 20 seconds ahead on the next swimmer.

Virginia Anne Dundon was the event winner of the 200 yard breaststroke. She picked up her victory after stopping the clock in 2:44.33. Dundon has performed well this season winning at least one event in every meet this season.

The Hawks have a long break until they are back in action on Friday December 6
th for Homecoming at the North Pool when they host John Jay College at 6pm.
