Flushing, N.Y. - Hunter College men's tennis earned its second CUNYAC win of the season on Saturday when they defeated John Jay College with a score of 6-3.
The Hawks won two of their three doubles matches as
Sean Kemp and
Ryan Hwang led the team at the No. 2 spot with an 8-5 victory.
Kyle Burrus and
Jose Agregado also took down their opponents at the No. 3 court.
Nasser Ghaffar earned a win at the No. 1 court in singles competition, defeating his opponent with scores of 6-4 and 6-1. Agregado,
Matthew Solovey and
Nicholas Caicedo each finished off their opponents to contribute to Hunter's 6-3 win.
The team returns to action on Wednesday when they travel to Lehman College for a 3:30 p.m. match.
