Bronx, N.Y. - Hunter College men's tennis improved to 3-0 in conference play on Wednesday when they got a 9-0 win over Lehman College.
All three Hunter doubles teams got wins to start the day as
Nasser Ghaffar and
Omer Khalifa led the way with an 8-2 victory at the No. 1 court.

Ryan Hwang (No. 2) and
Nicholas Caicedo/
Kyle Burrus (No.3) found victories to allow Hunter the lead before going into singles competition.
Ghaffar took down his opponent in a close three-set match, getting the 6-1 win to start, before falling 7-6. Ghaffar finished off the Lightning when he managed a 10-5 victory in the third.
At the No. 2 spot, Khalifa got a 6-2, 6-0 win, while Agregado followed with a 6-2, 6-2 victory at No. 3 singles.
Matthew Solovey, Caicedo and
Rhodondo Jeraman each secured the team win for the Hawks by getting wins in their respective positions.
The team returns to action when they travel to the College of Staten Island for a 12 p.m. match.
