New York, NY - The swimming team hosted the Mariners of the United States Merchant Marine Academy earlier this evening in the team's final home meet. The Purple and Gold were able to snag just two event wins on the night and lost by a score of 58-33 to bring their record to 6-3 overall. 

Che Rel Haywood was the lone Hawk to snag an individual first place finish and it came in the 200 yard breaststroke. The 200 yard freestyle quartet of Inga Kulma, Andrea Rodriguez, Heyu Feng and Sarah Decker added to the team's point total with a first place showing. Ava Maffucci, Decker and Rodriguez added runner up finishes in their respective individual events.

Hunter returns to action on Friday, January 21 when they compete in a dual meet against John Jay and Lehman. The meet will be hosted by John Jay.
