New York, N.Y.- The Hunter College women's swim team defeated Lehman, 55-17, in a CUNYAC meet this evening.
The Hawks started off the day taking first in the 200-yard medley relay comprised of
Kiana Guarino,
Cara Chang,
Nancy Leal, and
Germayne Chau, with a team time of 2:04.1.
Gwedolyn Posner took first in the longest race of the day, clocking in at 14:03.11 in the 1000-yard freestyle.
Kiana Guarino took gold in the 200-yard freestyle at 2:08.76.
Kateryna Titarenko secured yet another first place finish for the Hawks with a time of 27.27 in the 50-yard free, she also was the top finisher in the 100-yard free crossing the finish line in 1:01.95.
Nayesha Krishna also garnered a first place finish in the 200-yard individual medley, as she finished in 2:45.47. Chau secured the win in the 100-yard butterfly (1:05.78), while
Lian Winter won the 100-yard backstroke (1:09.50), and Chang closed out the day with a win in the 500-yard free at 6:03.01.
