New York, N.Y.- The Hunter College women's swimming team fell to Saint Joseph's Brooklyn at home in a dual meet, 47-48.
Despite the loss, the Hawks garnered six first place finishes including the 400-yard medley relay team comprised of
Nancy Leal, Winter Lian,
Kateryna Titarenko, and Parvina Makhmadalieva with a 4:15:06 finish.
Kiana Guarino led the team grabbing gold in the 400-yard IM with a time of 5:02.38 and the 100-yard backstroke in 1:03.90.
Titarenko also took first in the 50-yard freestyle, clocking in at 27.50. Leal also added an individual first place finish in the 100-yard butterfly, clocking in at 1:08.49.
Germayne Chau rounded out first place medals for the Hawks with a time of 59.72 in the 100-yard freestyle.
The Hawks return to the pool on Dec. 1 for the ECAC tournament.
