Union, N.J.- The Hunter College women's volleyball team traveled to Kean University for a dual meet on Saturday afternoon, where they fell to the Cougars, 43-200, in a non conference competition.
Despite the loss, the Hawks managed several top-three finishes for the day. Kiana Guarino led the team with two second place individual medals. She finished the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:31.16 as well as the 100-yard IM, where Guarino crossed the tape in 1:03.22.
She was also part of the 200-yard freestyle relay, in combination with Cara Chang, Gwendolyn Posner, and Nancy Leal, which finished in third with a team time of 1:50.92.
Leal also grabbed an individual third place medal as she finished the 50-yard freestyle with time of 33:08.
Lastly, Kateryna Titarenko grabbed another top-three finish with a bronze in the 50-yard freestyle, as she clocked in at 28.31.
