FLUSHING, N.Y.- The City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) announced its Preseason Coaches' Poll for the upcoming women's swimming season. Hunter tied with rival Baruch College to repeat as conference champions, with 23 total points and three first-place nods each.
The Hawks are coming off their fifth consecutive CUNYAC Championship, returning six medaling swimmers from the meet. Notabley,
Lian Winter dominated in butterfly events at the championship meet, as she was named Hunter's Swimmer to Watch for the upcoming season. She earned two silver individual medals in the 100 and 200-yard. butterfly, and placed third in the 100-yard backstroke. Additionally, she was part of a pair of relay silver medals for the Purple and Gold in the 200-yard medley relay, in addition to returner
Kateryna Titarenko, and the 400-yard medley relay, alongside senior
Cara Chang.

The 2025-26 CUNYAC Women's Swimming and Diving Championship is set for Friday, January 30 through Sunday, February 1 at The APEX at Lehman College.
