ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y.- The Hunter College men's cross country team continued its season on Saturday at the Fred Pavlich Invitational hosted by Bard College, placing fifth in team scoring.
Mateo Penafiel led the Hawks with a third place finish, running a conference-best time of 27:51.1 in hth men's 8k race.
Brian Arias followed in 11th with a time of 28:47.0.
Rookies,
Jack Treacher and
Robert Liang Xu, completed the course in 32:28.1and 33.57.4, respectively. Returners,
Benjamin Landheim crossed the tape in 35:31.4 followed by
Paul Patino who clocked in at 38:30.8.
Keith Sun rounded out finishers for Hunter with his time of 44.22.6.
The Hawks return to action on Sept. 28 at the Queensborough Invitational at Van Cortlandt Park.
