BRONX, NY.- The Hunter College men's cross country team returned to the course this weekend at the Queensborough Invitational at Van Cortland Park where they placed 14th out of 20 total teams.
The Hawks were led by returner,
Hengzhi Zhu, who placed 21st of 160 total finishers for a time of 32:24.3 in the men's 8k race. He was followed by
Harrison Abarca and
Paul Patino, who finished in 42:00.6 and 43:58.2, respectively.
Alexander Shearman also ran for the Hawks, clocking in at 44:09.7, followed by
Keith Sun (46:15.6) and
Dylan Asuncion (49:51.9).
Hunter resumes its season on Oct. 11 at the NJIT Highlander Invitational in Newark, N.J.
